ABOUT ME
Friendly, caring, professional, and not allergic to pets. Remember when your piano was more than just a large piece of furniture in the corner of your house? I'll turn it back into the instrument you want to play.
I started playing piano at 7 and am classically trained through the RCM. In 2008 I received my certificate in Piano Technology at the University of Western Ontario. All of my tunings to date have been done aurally, and though it's fun making noise on pianos all day, most of my enjoyment comes from the many customers who invite me into their studios and homes.

I am currently based in Guelph, Ontario, and am servicing the areas in the map below:
SERVICES
A piano is both a heavy and delicate instrument. Its strings are under a great deal of tension, and its materials - wood and metal - are affected by any changes in their environment. For these reasons, it is recommended that your piano be serviced at least twice a year, whether it is being played or not.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What health and safety precautions are you currently taking? I require access to a sink to wash my hands before and after your piano service. I am always happy to accommodate; feel free to request that I wear a mask if needed. I also request that if anyone in your home is not feeling well, to please contact me to reschedule your appointment.
How should I prepare for your visit? Prior to my arrival I request that you please clear off all items from the top and immediate surroundings of the piano. Piano tuning requires concentration, and sufficient time. I try my best to be punctual, and to accommodate background noise within reason.
How can I clean my piano? Here are some steps to keep your piano keys clean: - Always wash your hands before playing! - To clean them keys, use a soft, pale coloured cloth dampened with water and a small amount of mild soap. Note that disinfecting sprays and wipes can damage your keys. - Ivory is porous, and easily damaged so the cloth must be well wrung out, and be careful to not get any drips down the side of the keys either. It may not be obvious to know if you have ivory or plastic keys. Contact me if you have any questions
